Week No. 19: Highs, Lows, etc.

This week felt like it flew by! How about for you? Some big things happened, some fun things happened, nothing very hard or disappointing happened. So time flies when you're having fun (totally)!

This Week's Highs:

  • Career: I started my new job on May 3. So far, I've developed a little kinship with some of my team members, I've certainly learned a TON, and I've managed to stay on top of everything (since it's pretty minimal so far). Specifically, I'm proud that I've maintained inbox zero, and I'm proud that I have handled my first thing on my own.
  • Health: I took a walk every morning this week before work. I've also managed to meditate several times this week. Although I feel like I've lost some momentum with Noom, I've just felt good this week.
  • Personal: It was such a joy to have houseguests this past weekend. Two friends stayed with us, and after such a long time without any real plans--let alone pals to make plans with--it was SO FUN to have people around. Also, after many months, I was finally able to get back to indoor mass.

This Week's Lows:

  • Career: I have not managed to get one-on-one chats with everyone on my team yet. I hope to get that done, but until then, it's an unfinished goal.
  • Health: I certainly need to exercise self-restraint concerning snacking when I'm working from home. I've tried to give myself good structure, but I certainly got a little too snacky throughout the week.
  • Personal: Nothing really to report. It was just a happy week.

Etc.

My husband and I are moving in July! We're going to move to a much larger city in the Midwest, and we signed a lease! We have a beautiful apartment that we'll move into this summer! Although we've treasured our time in our current town, it'll be so fun for a new adventure.
