Are resolutions easier to keep if you have a cute outfit for it? Like a fresh set of workout clothes can help you get to the gym. I think a sweet apron could help you spend time in the kitchen cooking good meals.
I do not usually wear an apron. In fact, I have not owned one of my own for years! But with all the cooking and baking I have done over the past year, I probably could have saved myself from some stains by having a decent apron. Sometimes I keep a stray tea towel on the counter so I can wipe my hands throughout the cooking process, but I'd be delighted to have any of the aprons below to keep my clothes clean. And if it's pretty, it would just make cooking feel more elegant! And if it's funny, it can make mistakes in the kitchen less catastrophic!
A pretty, clever, or long-lasting apron can also be a great gift for a loved one who cooks or bakes. It's a bit like gifting clothing, but you don't have to worry about sizes! So if you're looking for something for the baker in your life, or for yourself as you work on your New Year's resolution to cook more/cook healthy, look no further.

Today's Delights:
- Oh my goodness, I just can't get enough of Caitlin Reilly @hicaitlinreilly on Instagram, and her post yesterday "actress on instagram who is 'writing a book'" was hysterical;
- I was really delighted to see that my work email was very manageable after the holidays;
- I caught up yesterday with some work friends who had been out of office for some time; and
- my husband made minestrone last night - it was delicious and really packed with vegetables.
You can be delighted, A
